Support Our Monastery

The Practice of Dana (Giving)

In the Buddhist tradition, dana (generous giving) is one of the most important practices for spiritual development. Your generous support helps maintain the monastery, supports the resident teachers, and enables us to offer Dhamma teachings and meditation guidance freely to all who seek them.

Chanmyay Satipatthana Vihara is a nonprofit charitable organization (501(c)(3)) supported entirely by the generosity of members, meditators, and friends of the Dhamma. Because of this generosity, we can offer all teachings free of charge, following the ancient Buddhist tradition.
